A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT OF THE CONTRACT WITH THE LEE ANDREWS
GROUP TO RESOLVE EXCESSIVE INVOICING FROM LOS ANGELES COUNTY
ANIMAL CONTROL AND ASSIST WITH LOCATING AN ALTERNATE
ORGANIZATION TO PROVIDE KENNELING SERVICES
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2014 the City entered into a contract with the Lee
Andrews Group to assist with negotiation between the City and Los Angeles County
Animal Care and Control; and
WHEREAS, the contract was for a not to exceed amount of $15,000; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to maintain the Lee Andrews Group to continue to
assist the City in a settlement agreement with Los Angeles County Animal Care and
Control and also assist staff in negotiating an agreement with another vendor to provide
kenneling services for the City; and
WHEREAS, a contract amendment in a not to exceed amount of $50,000 is
needed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council authorizes the Mayor to execute the
aforementioned contract amendment in a form approved by the City Attorney increasing
the total not to exceed amount to $50,000. 4 " "F
Section 2. The City Council authorizes the City Manager or designee to make
the following funds appropriations and transfers:
Un- Appropriated General Fund 1011.40.445.62015 1.

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
