HomeMy Public PortalAbout046-2012 - rezoning - 701 North 13th StreetORDINANCE 46-2012 A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL FROM URBAN RESIDENTIAL (UR) DISTRICT TO INTENSE MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL (M2) DISTRICT WHEREAS, The Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 701 North 13th Street in Richmond, Indiana, and legally described as follows, to wit: LOTS 25 & 26 EMM LOTS 1-10 DWM LOTS 9, 10, 13, 14, 17, 18, 21, 22 PERRY ADD; OM 435 & 436 & PT VAC ST & ALLEYS as an Urban Residential (UR) District, as described on Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, It is desirable to change the zoning designation to an Intense Multiple -family Residential (M2) District to allow the property to be used as an assisted living facility. NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that the zoning designation of the above -described property is changed to an Intense Multiple -family Residential (M2) District. A pre -application meeting is required with the City of Richmond Planning staff per the procedures outlined in Article 9 of the Unified Development Ordinance. 2. An application for a Rezoning shall be made on a form provided by the Zoning Administrator. 3. An Application for a Rezoning shall be accompanied by the following supporting information: a. A list of names and mailing addresses of all known adjacent property owners. b. Site Plan 4. An application for a Rezoning shall be filed at least twenty-eight (28) days prior to the public meeting at which it is first.to be considered by the Plan Commission. 5. Applicable fees shall be paid at the time the Application for a Rezoning is filed. 6. City of Richmond Planning Staff may place a sign on the parcel notifying the public of a scheduled hearing.. 7. The current zoning does not allow for that use.
