RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE MIDPENINSULA REGIONAL PARK
DISTRICT DECLARING NUMBER OF VOTES
CAST AND CONFIRMING ORDER OF ANNEXA-
TION (SAN MATEO COUNTY ANNEXATION)
WHEREAS, the County Clerk of San Mateo County has filed
with the Clerk of the Midpeninsula Regional Park District his
certificate dated June 25, 1976 setting forth the results of
the San Mateo County Annexation election held June 8, 1976, in-
cluding the canvass thereof, a copy of which is on file with the
Clerk of the Midpeninsula Regional Park District and reference
to which is hereby made,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Midpen-
insula Regional Park District does hereby resolve:
Section One: The total number of votes cast upon the
proposition
Shall the order adopted on March 3,
1976 by the Board of Directors of
the Midpeninsula Regional Park Dis-
trict ordering the annexation to
said district of the territory
described in said order and desig-
nated therein as "San Mateo County
Annexation" be confirmed?
at the election held June 8, 1976 in the affected portions of San
Mateo County was 36,528, and the number of votes cast for and
against the anr.cAxation is as follows
FOR 18,820
AGAINST 17,708
Section Two: The Board of Directors of the Midpenin-
sula Regional Park District finds that a majority of the votes
cast upon the question is in favor of the annexation and does
hereby confirm the order of annexation made by this Board on
March 3, 1976.
Section Three: The Clerk of the Midpeninsula Regional
Park District is directed to prepare the certificates and to
complete the filings as prescribed by Chapter 8, Division 1,
Title 6 (commencing at Section 56450) of the Government Code of
California.
