the Mayor and Councilmen of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Geor-
gia, in that there will be missed the patient, pains- taking
and intelligent conception of and the splendid execution of work
done.
RESOLVED FURTHER that this body desires by this Resolu-
tion to express sincere admiration for Will H. Artley and the
work done by him while Administrator as aforesaid.
RESOLVED FURTHER that this Resolution be spread upon the
minutes of this meeting and a copy of the same be mailed to Will
He Artley.
There being no further business Council adjourned sub -

April 23rd, 1934.
A special meeting of Council was held today at 4 :00 P. M. and
was attended by Mayor Lewis who presided and Councilmen Sharp -
ley, Logan and Blumenthal. Also Mr. William F. Lynes Jr.
Mr. Lynes representing the Tybee Hotel and Improvement
Company, Owners of Hotel Tybee petitioned; for a reduction in
the assessments imposed on the Hotel property. Mr. Lynes was
excused.
Mr. Reaville M. Brown, Engineer in charge of the re-
habilitation of Fort Pulaski, requests the permission to use
500 feet of the right of way and also the approach to Lazaretto
Creek for the purpose of permitting a boat to land to carry
personel and materials to the job at Fort Pulaski. Council
was of the opinion that it had no authority to do this as the
property was still owned by the Central Railroad.
On motion made and seconded and passed reductions were
made on improvements on the following properties: Hotel Tybee,
$10,000.00, Tybrisa Company ( Breakers Pavilion, $5,000.00 -
Tybrisa Pavilion, $5,000.00).
The Assessment Committee met on March 28, 1934 for the
purpose of arriving at property valuations for the year com-
mencing on May 1, 1934, and submitted the following report
covering the assessments of all Real Setate and Improvements

On motion made and seconded the following Resolution
was passed;
RESOLUTION
RESOLVED that the report of the Committee on Assess- '
manta of valuations of Real Estate and Improvements thereon
in Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga., for the year commencing
May 1, 1934, be received and the valuations as thereon assess-
ed be adopted as the basis of Assessment for taxation of Real
Estate and Improvements in said Savannah Beach, Tybee Island,
Ga., for the year ending April 30th, 1935.

ject to try- call of the Mayor.

A special meeting of Council was held toddy at 4 :00
P. M. and was attended by Mayor Lewis who presided,and Council-
men Logan, Blumenthal and Cann.
It was moved and seconded that the Budget for the year
commencing May 1, 1934 be adopted and upon the unanimous agree-
ment of Council was placed on second .reading and passed.
BUDGET ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE to be entitled an Ordinance to adopt the Budget
for the fiscal year commencing May 1st, 1934, as prepared and
submitted by the Finance Committee of the Mayor and Council-
men of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga., and for other pur-
poses.
SECTION 1. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga., in meeting assembled that
the attached budget, which is hereby made a part hereof, as
prepared by the Finance Committee of the Mayor and Councilmen
of Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga., for the fiscal year
