A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Carson amending the classification plan,
Resolution 77-111.
The City Council of the City of Carson hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1. The Director of Personnel is authorized and directed under provisions
of Section 2797.3 of the Carson Municipal Code, to prepare and recommend position
classification and compensation plans, after consultation with department directors, which
become effective upon approval by the City Council.
Section Z. Rule III of the City of Carson Personnel Rules, provides that modifications
to the classification plan, Resolution 77-111, shall be made only after the Director of
Personnel consults with the department directors and affected recognized employee
organization.
Section 3. The Director of Personnel has consulted with the department directors
and officers of Municipal Employee's Union Local 809, the recognized employee organization
for the Middle Management and Professional Unit.
Section 4. The Classification Plan, Resolution 77-111 is hereby amended to include
the class specification for Redevelopment Project Analyst which will be compensated
at range G56 and included in the Middle Management and Professional Unit.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 88- 44 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 5th day of April 1988, and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following vote:
