A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON REQUESTING AN ALLOCATION
AND PAYMENT OF COUNTY AID TO CITIES FUNDS
FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF COUNTY HIGHWAY PLAN
STREETS LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated monies to the City
of Carson as County Aid to Cities; and
NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Carson resolves that:
1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested to allocate $126,422
of the Aid to Cities funds apportioned to the City for the maintenance of
those streets on the County Highway Plan located within the City.
2. After the allocation is approved by the Board of Supervisors and
funds are available, the County is requested to send such allocated amount
to the City. The City will begin using the funds for the street maintenance
according to the terms of the allocation.
3. The City Clerk is directed to forward a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for processing.

I, Relen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 88-050 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 17th day of May 1988, and that the same was
so passed and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Anderson, DeWitt, Muise and Mitoma
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
