A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON DESIGNATING PERSONS TO PERFORM
VARIOUS DUTIES IN CONNECTION WITH SPECIAL
ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS FOR ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 88-1, SEPULVEDA BOULEVARD, WILMINGTON
AVENUE TO ALAMEDA STREET, (PROJECT NO. 576).
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson is
considering the formation of a special assessment district pursuant
to the terms and provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913
(Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California), for the construction of certain public improvements,
together with appurtenances and appurtenant work, such special
assessment district to be known and designated as Assessment District
No. 88-1 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District").
In that connection, the City Council is desirous of making the required
appointments and designating persons to perform certain duties, in
order to allow the proceedings to go forward to completion in
accordance with applicable provisions of law.
Section 2. The Director of Public Works is hereby appointed
and designated to perform all of the duties and functions of the
Superintendent of Streets in connection with the above referenced
Assessment District as such duties and functions are referred in
the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913.
Section 3. The Daily Breeze is hereby designated as the
newspaper for all publications as required by law in connection with
the Assessment District.
Section 4. BSI Consultants, Inc. is hereby appointed
as Assessment Engineer in connection with such proceedings, upon
the terms and conditions as set forth in an Agreement, which Agreement
was approved and authorized for execution by the City Council at
its meeting of January 26, 1987.
Section 5. Richards, Watson, & Gershon, A Professional
Corporation is hereby appointed to act as Bond Counsel for the purposes
of preparing proceedings and issuing an approving legal opinion
regarding the validity of the proceedings and the bonds issued to
represent unpaid assessments.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is
five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 88-100 was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said
Council, duly and regularly held on the 20th day of September 1988, and that the
same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
