AUGUST 14, 2013
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Public Safety Commission actions
from their August 14, 2013 meeting.
BACKGROUND:
On August 14, 2013, the Public Safety Commission held their regularly scheduled
meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the August 14, 2013 Public Safety
Commission meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Comm issioner-Clift, Haddad, Nimr i, Vice-C ha irman Redmond,
Chairman Stratis
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused : Commissioner-None
2 . APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Public Safety Commission approved ·the minutes ·of their July 10, 2013 and
July 24, 2013 meetings.

3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Public Safety Commission held two hearings in person, and upheld both
citations.
The Public Safety Commission reviewed three hearings requested by written
declaration, and upheld all citations.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have a fiscal impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
