A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON ADOPTING THE CITY BUDGET
AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE 1988-89
FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the
City Council a proposed preliminary budget for the fiscal year 1988-89, commencing
1 July 1988 and ending 30 June 1989; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and modified the proposed
preliminary budget; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held pursuant to the provisions
of the Carson Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for
the efficient management of the City that certain sums be appropriated to the various
departments, offices, agencies and activities of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. An annual budget for the City of Carson for the fiscal year
beginning 1 July 1988 and ending 30 June 1989 is hereby adopted, said annual budget
being the proposed preliminary budget as amended, modified and corrected in open
study sessions before this council, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
Section 2. The sums of money therein set forth are hereby appropriated
to respective accounts and funds therein set forth for expenditure during the fiscal
year 1988-89, for each of the several items set forth in the budget.
Section 3. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated to the
following departments, offices, agencies and activities of the City for expenditure
during the fiscal year 1988-89.

Section 4. The City Administrator is hereby instructed to have copies
hereof duplicated and distributed to all departments, officials and interested parties
as soon as possible.
Section S. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall keep a copy of this resolution attached to the 1988-1989 budget on file, and
effective 1 July 1988, the same shall be in full force and effect.
