A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Carson
transferring the field functions of Business License
Division from Finance & Administration Department
to Community Safety Department: and amending the
City Table of Organization.
The City Council of the City of Carson hereby resolves
as follows:
Section 1. The City Administrator has the
authority to organize City services in the most
effective and efficient manner.
Section 2. In order to achieve the above
objective, the field personnel and one clerical position
of the Business License Section of Finance &
Administration Department, are transferred to the
Community Safety Department. The Table of Organization
is changed as follows:
A. Delete from Finance & Administration,
Revenue, Account 1250.
1. Business License Officers, KF330NOlU
through KF330N04U.
2. Business License Clerk, KF332N05U.
B. Add to Community Safety Department,
Code Enforcement/Administration, Account
1632.
1. Code Enforcement Officers, PD304NO7U
and PD304N08U.
2. Business License Clerk, PD332NOlU
Section 3. The positions of Business License
Officer which are so transferred are hereby classified
as Code Enforcement Officer effective upon the date
of the transfer.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 89-074 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 5th day of
July, 1989, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
