SPECIAL MEETING
April 25, 2008
The Moab City Council held a Special Joint City/County Workshop
Meeting on the above date in the Council Chambers of Moab City
Offices, located at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah. Mayor David L.
Sakrison called the Pre -Council Workshop to order at 11:39 AM.
In attendance were Councilmembers Kyle Bailey, Rob Sweeten and
Gregg Stucki. In attendance from the Grand County Council were
Councilmembers Gene Ciarus, Audrey Graham, Pat Holyoak and Jerry
McNeely. Also in attendance from the City of Moab were City
Manager Donna Metzler, City Recorder/Assistant City Manager Rachel
Ellison, Film Commission Director Tara Campbell, Administrative
Analyst/Economic Development Specialist Kenneth F. Davey, Swim
Center Manager Daniel Tally and Recreation Coordinator John Geiger.
Ten members of the audience and media were present.
A presentation was made by Marshall Moore of the Utah Film
Commission.
Councilmember Bailey left the meeting at 1:08 PM.
City Manager Metzler made a presentation regarding the proposed
aquatic center. Discussion followed.
Councilmember Sweeten left the meeting at 1:27 PM.
County Councilmember Graham left the meeting at 1:28 PM.
Mayor Sakrison adjourned the Special meeting at 1:38 PM.
