this ordinance, be and the same are hereby repealed.

A special meeting of Town Council was held today
in the City Hall of Savannah at 12 Noon and was attended by
Chairman of Council Cann, who presided, and Councilmen
Blumenthal, Logan,,-Righton and Demers.. Also Town Attorney
McIntire.
The purpose of the meeting was to elect a success-
or to Dr. Kinyoun, who was appointed Health Officer and who
declined to serve and asked to be relieved. On motion made
and seconded, it was moved that the resignation be accepted.
After some discussion, Councilman Righton moved that Dr. V.
H. Bassett be appointed Health Officer and Councilman Blumen-
thal seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
There being no further business, Council adjourned

A spacial meeting of Council was held today at
4 P. Me and was attended by Mayor Bright who presided and
Councilmen Cann, Blumenthal, Righton and Town Attorney
McIntire, and Ir. A. F. Solms.
Refering to the appointment of Dr. V. H. Bassett
as Health Officer, the Mayor informed Council that as the
Mayor was empowered to appoint the Health Officer, he would
make this appointment at a later date.
Mr. H. C. Foss of the Savannah Electric Company,
offered to give a number of chairs that had formerly been used
in Street Cars. The matter was refered to Councilman Logan
