Attached is Joe's Superintendent Report with regards to matters of importance concerning
operations at the treatment plant.
The next JFOC Committee is planned for September, mainly for reviewing/approving the 2007
operations and maintenance budget. The third Thursday is September 21st. If there are any
concerns about your District's attendance, please let me know. I will also need to confirm where
the meeting will be held since the Winter Park Town hall is under construction. I will get
operations budget numbers to Kirk and Bruce as soon as possible before the meeting.
At the last Fraser Sanitation District Board meeting, Kirk noted that there is still some interest in
having an open house for the new plant. There was a little discussion, but it was felt that it
would be more productive to have some conversation with the JFOC Committee at the
September meeting.
1 At the July meeting for the Fraser Sanitation District, Adam Cwiklin was nominated and
unanimously approved as the new Board member to fill the vacancy on the Fraser Board left by
Ron Anderson's retirement. And, Robin Wirsing will fill the vacant JFOC Committee position
for the Fraser Sanitation District.

PLANT OPERATIONS UPDATE August 8, 2006
1. I have been in contact with some engineering firms with regards to repair of the SBR in
accordance with the standards imposed by the State Health Department. I will plan to
talk about this more at the JFOC meeting in September.
2. Parker Ag has been on -site to continue their work on the composting operation. The
work should be completed by fall.
3. As you may or may not know, we hired another person by the name of Todd Conger as a
full -time operator. Both Josh and Todd are great staff members and have all been
working well together. Josh took his certification exam last week.
4. The plant is operating very well.
