3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Per recommendation made by staff, the Planning Commission continued a
Conditional Use Permit request to allow the expansion of an existing
preschool/kindergarten located at 5708, 5714 Muscatel Avenue on a 5-0 vote
to the next Planning Commission Meeting of October 17, 2013.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. The Planning Commission approved a Tentative Parcel Map and Conditional
Use Permit located at 10119 Olive Street to allow a lot split subdivision to
create two lots in the R-1 Zone and to construct a 564-square-foot detached
pool house with a 95 square-foot patio.
The Planning Commission approved the request on a 5-0 vote.
B. The Planning Commission approved a request for a Conditional Use Permit
to allow the construction of a 563-square-foot detached pool house and 220-
square-foot patio.
The Planning Commission approved the request on a 5-0 vote.
C. COMMUNICATIONS-None
D. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS-None
E. UPDATE FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Community Development Director Persico announced the following: the next
Planning Commission Meeting will take place Monday, September 23, 2013,
consisting of the 51
h cycle of the Housing Element; cancellation of the
upcoming CERT training; and that the City has narrowed the General Plan
consultant to two possible firms. The selected firm will be recommended for
approval at the October 1, 2013, City Council Meeting.
F. ADJOURNMENT
The Planning Commission meeting was adjourned at 8:23 p.m.
