A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON INCREASING THE RATES TO
BE CHARGED BY AMERICAN TRANSPORTATION
ENTERPRISES, INC.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY
RESOLVES AND DETERMINES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 2. On November 1, 1988 the City Council granted a
certificate of public convenience and necessity to American Transportation
Enterprises, Inc. doing business as AM/PM Taxi, (herein "Applicant") to operate
six taxicabs within the City of Carson, and established the rates to be charged
by the Applicant.
Section 2. Applicant has paid the annual renewal fees
required by Section 6518 of the Carson Municipal Code and is currently in
compliance with all requirements of such Code. Applicant has requested an
increase in rates so that its charges will be uniform with the taxicab rates
charged in the City of Los Angeles and the County of Los Angeles.
Section 3. The City Council has considered and hereby
grants such request and hereby determines and orders that the increased rates
to be charged by Applicant are established as follows:
(1) Flag Drop; $1.90 for the first 1/8 mile or 60 seconds
or fraction thereof;
(2) Mileage: $0.20 for each additional 1 /8 mile or
fractional part thereof;
(3) Time: $0.30 for each one (1) minute of waiting time
or traffic delay or fractional part thereof.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th day of
_August 1991.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that
the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 91-073 was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 6th day of August, 1991, and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
