A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN NO. 46-90
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS, RESOLVES
AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. On July 9, 1991, the Planning Commission conducted a duly
noticed public hearing, at which time, evidence both written and oral, were presented
to and considered by said Commission, recommending to the City Council that the Land
Use Element of the General Plan be amended to change the designation of those certain
real properties described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, as follows:
1. Change the Land Use Designation of the property from "Low
Density Residential" to "Medium Density Residential".
Section 2. On September 3, 1991, the City Council held a duly noticed
public hearing to consider whether to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan
as recommended by the Planning Commission. Evidence, both written and oral, was duly
presented to and considered by the Council at said hearing.
Section 3. A Negative Declaration has been prepared for the properties
described in Exhibit "A". The City Council has reviewed and considered the Negative
Declaration prepared for the proposed General Plan Amendment and the associated Zone
Change Amendment prior to making its decision whether to amend the Plan. The Council
finds that the proposed amendment will not have a significant effect on the environment
and hereby approves the Negative Declaration.
Section 4. The City Council concurs with the Planning Commission
recommendation and hereby orders that the Land Use Element of the General Plan be
amended as recommended by the Planning Commission.
Section 5. The City Clerk shall endorse the Land Use Element of the General
Plan to show the approval by the Planning Commission and the adoption by the City Council
of the foregoing amendment.

that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 91-080 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 3rd day of
September, 1991, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
