A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON ORDERING VACATION OF A PORTION OF
KINARD AVENUE ADJACENT TO 21239, 21245 AND 21249
KINARD AVENUE, AS DESCRIBED HEREIN
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE,
FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER THAT:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson on August 20, 1991,
adopted Resolution No. 91-076, entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARSON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION
OF KINARD AVENUE ADJACENT TO 212399 21245 AND 21249 KINARD AVENUE,"
a public hearing thereon.
Section 2. Notices of the proposed street vacation were duly published
and posted in the manner and form and at the time required by Streets and Highways
Code Section 8323.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Carson held a public hearing
thereon on September 17, 1991, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers located at
701 E. Carson Street, City of Carson, State of California, at which time said Council
heard all evidence offered by persons interested in said vacation and no persons were
present to protest same.
Section 4. The City Council has considered the General Plan of the City
of Carson and finds the proposed vacation to be in conformity with said plans.
Section 5. Pursuant to Section 2381 of the Streets and Highways Code
of the State of California the City Council finds-and determines the right-of-way
proposed for abandonment is not useful as a nonmotorized transportation facility.
Section 6. The City Council of the City of Carson hereby finds that the
portion of Kinard Avenue adjacent to 21239, 21245 and 21249 Kinard Avenue is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
Section 7. The City Council of the City of Carson hereby orders that the
portion of Kinard Avenue adjacent to 21239, 21245 and 21249 Kinard Avenue, as shown
on the map (on file in the Public Works Department), and described as:
Being a portion of Kinard Avenue, in the City of Carson, County of Los
Angeles, State of California as shown on map recorded in book 7363, page
2 in the office of the County Recorder of said County, and being described
as follows:
All of Kinard Avenue, west of line beginning 26.96 feet south of
the northeast corner of lot 15 of Tract Map No. 21422 extending
southerly to the northeast corner of lot 9 Tract Map 21422 shall
be and is vacated.

Section 8. The City Clerk is directed to cause a certified copy of this
Resolution and Order to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County
of Los Angeles.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City,of Carson, California, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 91-094 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 17th day
of September, 1991, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
