A RESOLUTION OF THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL
CALLING A CLOSED SESSION REGARDING PENDING
LITIGATION
The Carson City Council hereby finds and resolves:
Section 1. The Carson City Council finds, pursuant to
Government Code Section 54956.9, based on advice from the City
Attorney, that a closed session should be held to confer with or
receive advice from the City Attorney regarding pending
litigation, discussion of which in open session would prejudice
the position of the City of Carson in the litigation.
Section 2. An adjudicatory proceeding before a court,
administrative body exercising its adjudicatory authority,
hearing officer, or arbitrator to which the City of Carson is a
party, has been initiated as follows:
(1) Artistic Landscape vs. City of Carson, et al. ,
L.A. Superior Court No. TC 005251;
(2) William Irwin vs. City of Carson, et al. , L.A. Superior
Court No. SC 025667;
(3) Transpacific Intermodal, Inc. , etc. vs. City of Carson,
etc. , L.A. Superior Court No. BC 006 782;
(4) Carson Harbor Village v. City of Carson, USDC, Central
District No. 903428 LEW (GX) ;
(5) Darryl Wong, et al. vs. City of Carson, USDC, CV 88-
06470-ER;
(6) Darryl Wong, et al. vs. City of Carson, L.A. Superior
Court No. BS 008355;
(7) Colony Cove v. City of Carson, L.A. Superior Court No.
SCC 24960; 2nd Civil No. B 062 956; Supreme Court No. S
030 304;
(8) Stephanie Atuatasi, Atapana Atuatasi, vs. City of
Carson, et al. , L.A. Superior Court No. TC001617,
SCL25652; and
(9) Grace Fauchald, et al. vs. City of Carson, etc. , and
John H. Anderson, L.A. Superior Court No. BC 014298.
Section 3. A closed session of the Carson City Council
shall be held forthwith, in recess from this regular meeting,
pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9, subdivision (a) ,
regarding the litigation identified in Section 2 hereof.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is four; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 93-062 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 15th day
of June, 1993, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
