VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES JANUARY 28, 2013 AT: VILLAGE HALL BOARD PRESENT: M.COLLINS, G.PECK, D.RIPPY, M.BONUCHI, P.FAY, AND B.LAMB. BOARD ABSENT: J.RACICH. OTHERS
PRESENT: B.MURPHY, ADMINISTRATOR; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; A.PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; R.JESSEN, PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS SUPERINTENDENT; M.GARRIGAN, PLANNING SUPERVISOR; T.PLECKHAM,
MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND J.KONOPEK, CHIEF OF POLICE. CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL/PLEDGE Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Trustee Racich
was absent, all other Trustees were present. Mayor Collins led the pledge to the flag. There were approximately 4 persons in the audience. BUSINESS MEETING 1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA Trustee
Fay moved to approve the Agenda. Seconded by Trustee Peck. Vote by roll call. Peck, yes; Racich, absent; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes; Lamb, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion
carried. 2) 2013 BENGAL EASTSIDE SHUFFLE 5K RUN/WALK Trustee Fay moved to authorize the road closures as identified in the memo for the 2013 Bengal Eastside Shuffle 5k Run/Walk to be
held on April 21, 2013. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Trustee suggested putting up signs prior to the event alerting residents of the road closures. Trustee Rippy suggested having a specific
route for these types of events. Chief Konopek stated that staff is currently working on something. Vote by roll call. Peck, yes; Racich, absent; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes;
Lamb, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried. Trustee Fay moved to adjourn the Special Meeting. Seconded by Trustee Peck. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried. The
