To Whom It May Concern
I wanted to share our experiences at Victory field since the amazing renovations. I am a
long time Watertown resident and one of the commissioners of HUB Softball, the largest adult
recreational softball league in New England with over 300 teams and 5000 players. For the last 2
years Victory Field has been the home of the MA State Men's Softball Championships. Teams
from around the state come to Watertown for this 2 day event for a chance to determine a state
representative in the National championships in OKC. Victory field has been a major drawing card
in attracting teams statewide, as the facility in general and the baseball field in specific is state of
the art and teams clamor to play on it. In addition we also run weeknight league games
whenever we can permit time. I only wish more time was available as there is really no field like
Victory in the greater Boston area. HUB Softball plays on over 25 different fields in more than a
dozen towns and cities from Dedham to Lexington so we have some experience in this area.
Lastly the field, grounds and surrounding area is well maintained, convenient and just a lot of fun
to be a part of.
