DEDICATION BY RIDER
WHEREAS, P.L. 1997, Chapter 256 was adopted which
requires each Municipality to appoint a Municipal Public
Defender and with certain other modifications as provided
by (N.J.S.A. 2B:24-1 et seq.), and
WHEREAS, such regulations insure that funds are set
aside and kept exclusively to meet the costs incurred in
providing the services of Municipal Public Defender
including, when required, expert and lay investigation and
testimony.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that such fees
received by the Borough be placed in a specific trust fund
and such trust fund shall be considered a "Dedication by
Rider" to the budget of the local unit per N.J..~.'40A.:4-39
for the sole purpose stated above.
Adopted the 5th day of March, 1998
and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 6, 1998.
