The regular meeting of Council was held to -day at 4:00 p.m. and was attended by Mayor Bright, who presided, and Councilmen Lovell, Logan. Righton and Wolf Wilensky and A.P.Solomon,jr. Mr. Wilensky petitioned for refund of license collected from Mrs. Wilensky of T$ 25.00 for conducing a dining room. Mr. Wilensky was inflormed WJCOunnilithat<_ it:aegrette4 that it was necessary to refuse to grant his request. Mr. Wilensky was excused. On motion made and seconded elnd } iassed Mr. Abe Rundbaken was re- funded $ 25.00 that was overcharged him on his license. A letter was read from L.P.Maggioni and Co;, requesting a more substantial reduction on the note oftthe Town held by them. It was the opinion of Council that the finances of the Town would not permit of larger reductions at this time. The Treasurer was instructed to continue the payments as now made. There being no further business Council adjourned subject to t'e call of vhe Mayor. Savannah Beachrr Tybee Island,Ga, September 7th, 1934. A special meeting of Council was held to -day at 4:00 p.m..and was attended by Mayor Bright, who presided, and Councilmen Cann,yogan, Sharpley, Righton and Lovell and Town Attorney McInt *re. The minutes of the meetings of August 3rd and September 6th were read and approved. The matter of purchasing a new automobile for the police depart- ment was discussed and on motion made and seconded and passed it was decided the present automobile would be be repaired at a cost not to exceed 3 35.00. A petition was presented by the Tybee Amusement Company requesting the Town to bear part of the expenses incurred the past summer broadcasting over the SavannndaRadio Station WTOC from Tybrisa Pavillion. It was the opinion of Council that due to lack of funds the petition would have to be refused, but that consideration would be given in next years budget to any arrangements made for any new broadcasting. It was moved and seconded and passed that the Town purchase 2 tires for the automobile of !.J.Bryan. Councilman Logan was re- quested to make the purchase., It was moved and seconded and passed that the following resol- ution be adopted; RESOLUTION. RESOLVED that Mayor O.E.Bright be authorized and
