"You th Mock Election"
Take Your Kids T
~r4v~
There were 12 schools involved, 3 propositions given, 1,959 votes cast, 659 voters, and one successful "Youth Mock
Election." March 8th, 2005 marked Claremont's first ever "Youth Mock Election." The goal of this program was to spark
the interest of Claremont's youth with the election process by providing them with their own set of propositions in hopes that
a discussion would stem from it whether it is between teachers, parents or even other students. The ground work for this
program was laid out by the City Clerk staff but it was you, the teachers, the parents and the youth, that really made this
program soar and for that we thank you! Below are the results from the "Youth Mock Election.
