COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, AUGUST 19, 2013
CALL TO ORDER
The August 19, 2013, City Council “Pre-Meeting” Meeting was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor Eric Struemph.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Branch, Bray, Carroll, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Mihalevich, Prather,
and Scrivner
Absent: Schulte
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Bill 2013-44 (Sidewalk Café Regulations) – A substitute bill was emailed to the Council
on Friday at the request of Councilman Prather, which r aises the insurance requirement
from $300,000 to $500,000.
Bill 2013-64 (Development Agreement) – City Counselor Drew Hilpert stated that this
item was added to the agenda and distributed on Friday afternoon, and that he will
explain in detail this agreement and issue in the Regular Meeting. He stated that Missy
Bonnot from the Chamber of Commerce would be present tonight to make a
presentation on it as well.
Bill 2013-46 (Sale of Real Property to Alex Mastrogiannis) – Councilwoman Carrie
Carroll stated she planned to place this bill on the Informal Calendar tonight.
