A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET
AND APPROVING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE 1995/96
FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has prepared and submitted to the
City Council a proposed preliminary budget for the fiscal year 1995/96, which
commences on July 1, 1995 and ends on June 30, 1996; and
and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed preliminary budget;
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held pursuant to the provisions
of the Carson Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for
the efficient management of the City that certain sums be appropriated to the various
departments, offices, agencies and activities of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. An annual budget for the City of Carson for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1995 and ending June 30, 1996 is hereby adopted. Said annual budget
being the proposed preliminary budget as reviewed in open study session before the
City Council, a copy of which is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
Section 2. The sums of money therein set forth are hereby appropriated
to the respective accounts and funds for expenditure during fiscal year 1995/96, for
each of the several items set forth in the preliminary budget, as amended.
Section 3. The sums of money therein set forth for special program
donations and contributions are the total amount to be appropriated for such purposes,
and no further requests of this nature are to be considered during FY 1995/96.
Section 4. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated to the
following departments, offices, agencies and activities of the City for expenditure
during fiscal year 1995/96.

Section 5. The City Administrator is hereby instructed to have copies
hereof duplicated and distributed to all departments, officials and interested parties
as soon as convenient.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and shall keep a copy of this resolution attached to the fiscal year 1995/96 budget
on file, and effective as of July 1, 1995, the same shall be in force and effect.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby certify
that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 95-062 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 5th day of
July, 1995, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
