A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON CONSENTING TO HOLDING A JOINT '
PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY ON A PROPOSED SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS AMENDED, FOR PROJECT
AREA NO. 1
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY FINDS,
DETERMINES, RESOLVES AND ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Pursuant to the provisions of the Community
Redevelopment Law, Health and Safety Code Section 33000, et sea. ,
(the "Redevelopment Law") , the Staff and Consultants of the
Carson Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") have prepared a
proposed Sixth Amendment (the "Sixth Amendment") to the
Redevelopment Plan, as amended; for Project Area No. 1 of the
Agency (the "Project Area") . By previous resolution, the Agency
approved the proposed Sixth Amendment, which is on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Carson. The purposes of
the Sixth Amendment are to add certain territory to the Project
Area, to amend and restate the Redevelopment Plan, as amended,
for the Project Area, as proposed to be amended, and to provide
an updated list of proposed public projects.
Section 2 . The City Council hereby authorizes and
consents to holding a joint public hearing with the Agency on the
proposed Sixth Amendment on June 18, 1996, at the time and place
as selected by the City Clerk, or such other date as may be
selected by the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to provide notice thereof as required by
law.

resolution, being Resolution No. 96-031 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at an adjourned regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the
8th day of May, 1996, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:

proposed Sixth Amendment on June/48, 1996, at the time and place
as selected by the City Clerk, ,dr such other date as may be
selected by the City Clerk, and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to pr"/ovide notice thereof as required by
law.
