RESOLUTION NO. 96-060
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA,
INCREASING THE FEE FOR THE RELEASE OF IMPOUNDED
VEHICLES AND AMENDING RESOLUTION 94-024 AND
RESOLUTION 96-027
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, DOES FIND AND
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The first paragraph of Section 1 of Resolution No. 94-024, as
amended by Resolution No. 95-026, which now reads:
"A service fee in the sum of $65.00 is hereby established for the
removal, impoundment, storage and/or release of any vehicle
impounded or stored within the City of Carson under various
circumstances, including but not limited to:"
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"A service fee in the sum of $78.00 is hereby established for the
removal, impoundment, storage and/or release of any vehicle
impounded or stored within the City of Carson under various
circumstances, including but not limited to:"
Section 2. The portion of Resolution No. 96-027 designated GENERAL AND
MISCELLANEOUS FEES is amended by adding the following language:
"G. PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT Fee
1. Release of Impounded Vehicles $78.00"
Section 3. The City Council finds that the foregoing increase in service fee
reflects and does not exceed the actual cost of processing documents and otherwise
responding to requests.for the removal, impoundment, storage and/or release of vehicles
that are impounded or stored in the City of Carson and that the revenue sources for the
services provided will be the fees paid for such services and, if necessary, General Fund
Revenues.

that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 96-060 was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 2nd day of
July, 1996, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
