RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Parks and Recreation Commission
actions from their special meeting of November 20, 2013.
BACKGROUND:
On November 20, 2013, the Parks and Recreation Commission held a special meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the November 20 , 2013 Parks and
Recreation Commission special meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Fish, Lopez, Rosso, Chairman Georgina
Absent: Commissioner-None
Excused : Commissioner-Haddad
2. NEW BUSINESS
A. REQUEST FOR CONSIDERATION OF A FEE WAIVER FROM
CONGRESSWOMAN JUDY CHU FOR RESERVED USE OF THE LIVE OAK
PARK COMMUNITY CENTER FOR A HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE AND
BANQUET ON DECEMBER 14, 2013
The Commission approved the request.
