AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE #89-18
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Boroush of Carteret
(the "Borough") are eligible to receive meaical health
insurance paid for by the Borough pursuant to Ordinance
89-18; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has proposed the elimination of said
health insurance benefits for the Mayor and Council
effective January 1, 2001.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE, IT ORDAINED,by the Mayor and Council
of the Borough of Carteret that Ordinance 89-18 is
hereby amended by deleting for section 2 of said
- Ordinance the right to medical health insurance paid for
by the Borough.
BE, IT, FURTHER ORDAINED that the balance of the
Ordinance shall be unchanged.
BE, IT, FURTHER ORDAINED that the elimination of health
insurance benefits for the Mayor and Council shall be
effective January 1, 12001.
BE, IT, FURTHER ORDAINED THAT THIS Ordinance is not
intended to eliminate any right and person affected by
this Ordinance may have pursuant to other laws,
regulations or rules. (e.g. Cobra)
