AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH THE MIDDLESEX
COUNTY UTILITIES AUTHORITY FOR SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in receipt of an agreement with the Middlesex
County Utilities Authority (MCUA) for solid waste disposal; and
WHEREAS, specifically, the MCUA rate for household waste will be reduced from
$55.00/ton to $48.00/ton; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough of Carteret to authorize the
execution of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of the Borough of Carteret
is hereby authorized execute said agreement with the MCUA on behalf of the Borough.
Adopted this 19 day of March, 1998 and
certified as a true copy of the original on
March 20, 1998.
