HomeMy Public PortalAbout99-016 ON, C G o`� o a CITY OF CARSON CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 99-016 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING A CLOSED SESSION TO CONFER WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING PENDING LITIGATION The City Council of the City of Carson hereby finds and resolves: Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson finds, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9, based on advice from the City Attorney, that a closed session should be held to confer with or receive advice from the City Attorney regarding the pending litigation described below, discussion of which in open session would prejudice the position of the City of Carson in the litigation. Section 2. Anticipated Litigation, Government Code § 54956.9(c). Initiation of litigation pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9(c). Number of potential cases: one. Section 3. A closed session of the City Council of the Carson shall be held forthwith, in recess from this regular meeting, pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9, regarding the matters referred to in Section 2 hereof.
