A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING
CERTAIN CITY -OWNED FURNITURE AND ELECTRONICS AS DAMAGED AND
OBSOLETE SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING STAFF ,TO DISPOSE OF
SAID SURPLUS PROPERTY THROUGH ITS CURRENT WASTE HAULER AS
TRASH AND E -WASTE
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City to dispose of the surplus property through
the City's current hauler; and
WHEREAS, the disposition of the damaged furniture shall be disposed of by the
City's current hauler; and
WHEREAS, the disposition of obsolete electronics shall be disposed of by the
City's current hauler and labeled as e- waste; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That all items deemed damaged and obsolete unsellable will be
disposed of properly.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of February 2016.
