SUMMARY
SECTION ONE
That Section Two of Ordinance 15-2020 adopting the Classification and Compensation Plan is hereby
amended to change the pay classification of the Fire Prevention and Public Education Officer from Grade 14 to
Grade 17 Exempt.
The full text of this Ordinance is on file in the office of the undersigned City Clerk of the City of
Hopkinsville at 715 South Virginia Street, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where it is available for public inspection
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

SECTION TWO
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason held
unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such infirmities shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
of this ordinance.
SECTION THREE
Any and all existing ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION FOUR
This ordinance shall take effect after its passage and publication according to law.
