A RESOLUTION''OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING THE RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING BENEFITS FOR UNCLASSIFIED
EMPLOYEES RESOLUTION NO. 00-041
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA HEREBY RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The l Director of Human Resources is authorized and directed under
prov sions of Section 27973 of the Carson Municipal Code to prepare and
recoiimend position classification and compensation plans, after
consultation with the affected department directors which becomes
effective upon approval by the City Council.
Section 2. Rule lIII of the City of Carson Personnel Rules, provides that modification
to the classification plan, Resolution No. 77-111, shall be made only after
the Director of Human Resources consults with the affected department
directors and affected recognized employee organizations.
Section 3. The Iirector of Human Resources has consulted with the affected parties.
Section 4. The position of City Engineer, Salary Range No. 162, $5,446--$6,950 is
added to the appropriate sections of the Resolution Establishing Benefits
for Unclassified Employees Resolution No. 00-041.
Section 5. Article II, Compensation, Section 5, Salary Advancement is amended by
adding 5.3. The City Manager has the sole discretion to authorize salary
advancements of Unclassified Employees.
