The above rates are applicable to each residential and corrr.~rcial cons-wners per inter per nbnth or for airy part of a nx~nth for which gas is used at the wire location. 2. Bi11s are due and payable ~~~hen rendered and i f not paid within 15 days of the date sho~~n on the bi71 as the "present meter reading" date or the "for service through" date, subjects t;he custon~r to ini~~diate tei~,nination of gas serve ce unless they have made other payrt~nt arrangen~nts with the Corripany. Restoration of service is subject to the Company's reasonable regulations a.nd charges as authorised in pa~~agraph B (5) below to include a 520.00 Reconnect Charge. 3. (ii) Correction of the estiir~ated adjustment detei~rnined by (3) (a) (i) above shall be included as part of the adjustment for the second follo~;~ng billing month. The correcting factor (shown below as "C") shall be expressed to the nearest X0.0001 per P•9cf based - upon: (a) The corrected adjustir~nt amount based upon the actual city gate rate, less (b) The estimated adjustn~nt ai~bunt billed under (3) (a) (i) above, divided by (c) Distribution system z~sidential and cotrmercial sales nlcf recorded on the Company's books during the prior year for the trpnth that the correction is included as part of the adjustment. (iii) The adjustrrx~nt determined by (3) (a) (i) ~u~d (3) (a) (ii) above shall be multiplied by a tax factor of l.OGl46 to include street and alley rental and state occupation tax due to increasing Coi~~any revenues under this gas cost adjustment provision. The Co,rl~any shall have the right to collect such reasonable charges as are necessary to conduct its business and to carry out its reasonable rules and regulations in effect, as set forth in Attac}v7~ent "A" hereto ~i~hich is incorporated herein. 6. The Car~~any shall be allo«~ed to continue to collect the 5~ and 10~ surcharges authorized by the Railroad Commission of Texas, Final Order in GUD-1604 until such ti_rr~ as the respective anpunts authorized to be collected have been collected. The Co~1~~any shall in~~~diately notify the City ~~~hen the arrbunts authorized to be collected have been collected. SECl'IO~ 3. T}gat any person, firm or corlx~ration ~~~ho refuses to ccx»ply with the tei7ns al~d provisions of this ordinance shall be deen~d guilty of a misdeanx~ano and, upon conviction, fray be fined not to exceed 'I~vo IluncLred Dollars 0200), and each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense. The _-arne work performed on a call-out basis will be charged at the overtime rate with a two hour minirnurn charge. 4, ti9ain Line Extenzion Rate (Residential) The charge for extending mains beyond the free limit established by Lone Star Gas, or any free limit established by City franchise is y4.50 per foot except for large commercial and industrial consun-~ers which are handled on an actual r cost per foot basis. 5. Returned Check Charges A returned check handling charge of $5.00 is made for each c}reck returned to the Company for reasons of non-sufficient funds, account closed, p3~ rnent withheld, invalid signature or improper preparation. r
