RESOLUTION NO. 02-102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE FY 2002/03 AND FY 2003/04
GENERAL FUND BUDGETS AND APPROVING APPROPRIATIONS ;
r FOR THE 2002/03 FISCAL YEAR i
WHEREAS, the City Manager has prepared and submitted to the City Council a proposed
budget for the 2002/03 fiscal year,which commences on July 1,2002 and ends on June 30, 2003; and
WHEREAS,the City Council has reviewed the proposed budget; and I.
WHEREAS, a public hearing has been duly held pursuant to the provisions of the Carson
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is necessary for the efficient
management of the City that certain sums be appropriated to the various departments, work groups
and activities of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, FIND, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The general fund budget for the City of Carson for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 2002 and ending June 30, 2003 is hereby adopted. Said budgets being the proposed budget as
reviewed and amended in open study session before the City Council, a copy of which is on file in
the City Clerk's Office.
Section 2. The sums of money therein set forth are hereby appropriated to the respective
accounts and funds for expenditure during fiscal year 2002/03, for each of the several items set forth
in the proposed budget as amended.
Section 3. The sums of money therein set forth for special program donations and
contributions are the total amount to be appropriated for such purposes.
Section 4. The following sums of money are hereby appropriated to the following funds of .
the City for expenditure during fiscal year 2002/03:

Section 5. The City Manager is hereby instructed to have copies hereof duplicated
and distributed to all departments, officials and interested parties as soon as convenient.
Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and shall
keep a copy of this resolution attached to the fiscal year 2002/03 budget on file, and effective
as of July 1,2002,the same shall be in force and effect.
