RESOLUTION NO. 02-117
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, GIVING THE CITY MANAGER
LIMITED AND TEMPORARY AUTHORITY TO EXPEND
FUNDS OF THE CITY'S SPECIAL REVENUE FUNDS,
SUBJECT TO THE CITY COUNCIL'S APPROVAL OF THE
REGISTER OF DEMANDS AS REQUIRED BY LAW,
PENDING ADOPTION OF THE FY 2002/03 ANNUAL
OPERATING BUDGETS FOR THE SPECIAL REVENUE
FUNDS

HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to expend funds of the City's
Special Revnue Funds, subject to the City Council's approval of the Register of Demands as
required by law, for the purpose of paying ongoing Special Revenue Fund expenses until
budgets for the Special Revenue Funds are adopted by the City Council, or October 31, 2002,
whichever occurs first.
SECTION 2. The level of such expenditures and authorization is limited to the
FY 2001/02 level of appropriations previously approved by the City Council, and those items
which the Council has subsequently authorized by separate Council action.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this
Resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make
a Minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City, in the Minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
