Home My Public Portal AboutOrd. 1004 Amending Salary of The Council Members & Mayor ORDINANCE NO. 1004 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF McCALL, VALLEY COUNTY, IDAHO, AMENDING CHAPTER 8, CITY COUNCIL; MAYOR, OF TITLE 1, ADMINISTRATIVE, OF THE MCCALL CITY CODE AS FOLLOWS: IN SECTION 1.8.5: SALARY OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS CHANGING THE MONTHLY SALARY TO EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($800.00); IN SECTION 1.8.11: SALARY OF MAYOR, CHANGING THE MONTHLY SALARY TO ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO: Section 1: That Chapter 8, City Council; Mayor, of Title 1, Administrative, of the McCall City Code,be, and the same is hereby, AMENDED as follows, to-wit: 1.8.5: SALARY OF THE COUNCIL MEMBERS: Each member of the Council shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of two h, ndr-oa fif-, ei ht hundred dollars ($250.00 800.00 . Each member of the Council shall also receive all benefits afforded to regular full time employees of the City of McCall as described in the annual"Employee Benefits Guide". Each Council member shall also receive Idaho PERSI retirement benefits in the same amount afforded to City of McCall employees as prescribed by Idaho Code section 59-1322. No other compensation shall be afforded to the Council members. 1.8.11: SALARY OF MAYOR: The Mayor shall receive a monthly salary in the sum of one thousand dollars($400.00 1,000). The Mayor shall also receive all benefits afforded to regular full time employees of the City of McCall as described in the annual "Employee Benefits Guide". The Mayor shall also receive Idaho PERSI retirement benefits in the same amount afforded to City of McCall employees as prescribed by Idaho Code section 59-1322. No other compensation shall be afforded to the Mayor. Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect January 1, 2022, upon approval and publication, according to law.
