A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, APPROVING
HURRICANE FRANCES FHWA EMERGENCY RELIEF
PROGRAM AGREEMENT BETWEEN FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND VILLAGE OF
KEY BISCAYNE; PROVIDING FOR REIMBURSEMENT TO
THE VILLAGE; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the attached Hurricane Frances FHWA Emergency Relief Program
Agreement, the Florida Department of Transportation is authorized to provide Federal Highway
Administration Emergency Relief Program Funds related to costs incurred pursuant to Hurricane
Frances to the Village as reimbursement of Village's cost; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that approval of the Agreement is in the best interest
of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals Adopted. That each of the recitals stated above is hereby adopted
and confirmed.
Section 2. Agreement Approved. That the Hurricane Frances FHWA Emergency
Relief Program Agreement, in substantially the form attached hereto, is hereby approved and the
Village Manager is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Village.
Section 3. Implementation. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to take
any and all action necessary to implement this Resolution and the Agreement.
Section 4. Effective Date. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption hereof.
