Dear City of Mc Call, shame on you!
How can you not have ONE EV charger in McCall? I’m a musician driving to McCall for the music festival in July in my EV car. I’m simply flabbergasted that this gorgeous town with VERY
high end resort dynamics can’t support the kind of guests that are drawn to your area. I’m not sure what to do at the moment. Perhaps I can find a private resident willing to charge
for a use. The peer-to-peer network currently does not show any one in McCall signed up yet.
I currently only travel to places that support a charging network.... but I'm in the festival! I’m very willing to wait for the slow chargers, but usually can find fast chargers on
my routes. This is the way of the future and McCall needs to get on board ASAP. There will be many disgruntled EV users who will not come to McCall for this reason.
What to do??

I am a third generation McCall Idaho resident. Our family has enjoyed seeing the deer and other wildlife that live in the forest (which McCall is near). As we know the animals (not only
deer) have travelled into the town of McCall as growth (population and housing) has increased. I am strongly against any measures that would harm any and all wildlife (not only deer).
The deer are very welcome population to the city of McCall. If you are going to eliminate the deer, what’s next? The skunks, foxes (which we do not see as much), chipmunks and other
forest animals? If the deer are a problem to you.. then move back to the place you came from! The deer are apart of the forest and you need to leave them alone! Let them be! Look at
what happened when you messed with Mother Nature and the wolves!! The issue that needs to be addressed in McCall is the traffic speeding on Warren Wagon Rd and in town. I think the
deer would not be injured as often if people would slow down and more traffic patrol done on the streets.
I am AGAINST this proposal. How DARE you kill off the wildlife in a MOUNTAIN TOWN!!!!!!!!!
Hello, my name is Pamela and I moved to McCall from Kimberly, Oregon, 3 years ago. Kimberly is a small community of about 150 full time residents. The surrounding towns all about the
same. Then there are the bigger communities such as the Bend/Redmond area, Prineville, Baker and so on. All of them I am familiar with either through work and/or family. All of my adult
life has been spent in the Eastern Oregon area, and every one of those town has guess what….town deer. We would even name them. A few even learned how to read and would cross the street
at the deer crossings( lol)!!!
I have never once heard anything of any of these communities even remotely thinking of doing what McCall is considering. I find it to be barbaric at best. This was the home of the wild
animals long before people decided to live here. One of the reasons we chose to move here was to be close with nature, not to watch humans destroy what so many of us come to love and
appreciate.
McCall is a very special place and it would be nice to keep it that way. It is a town built in the mountains. It’s not rocket science folks…if you don’t like critters, snow, and short
summers, well there are plenty of concrete jungles that you can move to. I would even help you pack.
Thank-you for opportunity to voice my opinion.
Sincerely,
Pamela Leymaster
I deal with the public in mccall all day, every day. Not one person has thought this was a good idea, both locals and tourists. I know the members of the city council don’t like tourists,
but they don’t rely on them. The deer make mccall special. Doing this in humane act will be a sure way to get a new city council, and that can’t happen too soon. Time to get people
in there that represent the people of mccall, and not their selfish interests!
Please do not relocate the town deer!!! Yes we should not be feeding them and make an ordinance against that, but this is their home!! They have plenty of food in the trees to survive.
Please please please don’t do this!! As usual, a few people are making decisions for everyone. Plant flowers the deer don’t like. This is awful punishment for eating a few flowers!!!
I oppose the irradication, relocating or however it looks to remove the "town deer" from McCall.
Leave nature wild.. I vote against killing these animals..
On behalf of the McReynolds-Wucetich families, homeowners in McCall, at this time, we oppose any amendment to the City of McCall municipal code that would allow for a large scale extermination
of the local deer population for reasons specific to nuisance. The considered “nuisance” to a select few residents does not outweigh the benefits, natural wonder, and beauty, and the
sheer joy these animals bring to the rest of us who peacefully and gracefully co-exist. Fences, nets, and deer resistant plants are a humane alternative to whatever inconvenience is
brought to residents who choose to live in the mountains amongst wildlife.
I'm totally against your total deer eradication program ! What is this ? Total eradication of all wildlife ! What,s next !!!!!
