Budget: $150,000 in the Fiscal Year 2011-12 City budget.
Carpet: Remove and replace
• Commercial grade carpet
Seating: Auditorium Seats (existing 98 seats)-Two Options
• Remove 34 seats and refurbish remaining seats (64 seats)
(Provide ADA/wheelchair accessibility in rear row)
• Remove and install new auditorium seating {64 seats)
(Provide ADA/wheelchair accessibility in rear row)
Walls: Acoustic Panels
• Install ucoustic panels on the north, east and west walls
Ceiling: Remove acoustic "popcorn" ceiling
• The acoustic ceiling tested positive for asbestos .
• Remove the acoustic ceiling and refinish with a flat white surface .
Lighting:
• Fluorescent lights (ceiling lights) will remain as is .

Table top light and electrical outlets for all seats .
New granite top and trim .
Glass panels in front of dais .
Permanently install staff tables on the ends of the dais .
New executive chairs for Councilmembers and staff .
New lectern in existing location .
New ADA/wheelchair ramp for access to the podium/dais .
Audio/Visual Upgrades:
• 4 remotely controlled video cameras.
• Ceiling mounted projector and projection screen.
• 2 LED monitors for City Council
• 2 LED monitors for audience.
• New audio mixer and microphones
Next Steps:
• Review proposed renovations and design.
• Determine if the current budget is sufficient for the proposed renovations or if an additional
appropriation is needed for the proposed renovations.
• Determine if a construction manager is needed to oversee the project (15%-20% of project
cost)
• Provide direction to staff.
• After direction is provided to staff, staff will prepare a staff report for presentation a
subsequent City Council meeting formal approval.
