A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE STREET ADDRESS OF 201 SECOND STREET
TO 140 SUMMERHAYS STREET
Whereas, the homeowner Lisa Herring has requested her street address at 201
Second Street to be changed to 140 Summerhays Street, in order to meet the minimum
setback requirements under the zoning ordinance to build a new home on that corner
lot, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin does not have any objections to approving
the street address change;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to change
the street address at 201 Second Street to140 Summerhays Street and direct the City
Clerk to notify to appropriate agencies.
On the 11th day of April, 2012, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2012 -10, A RESOLUTION TO
CHANGE THE STREET ADDRESS OF 201 SECOND STREET TO 140
SUMMERHAYS STREET and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Weipert.
Ayes: Ryan, Ball, Weipert, Bartels, Upton. Nays: none. Absent: none.
Whereupon 5 Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2012 -01, A RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE
STREET ADDRESS OF 201 SECOND STREET TO 140 SUMMERHAYS STREET be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 11th day of April, 2012.
