RESOLUTION NO. 04-084
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON, CALIFORNIA, CALLING A CLOSED SESSION
TO CONFER WITH LEGAL COUNSEL REGARDING
ONE MATTER OF EXISTING LITIGATION ENTITLED
GALLANT v. CITY OF CARSON, ET AL
THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL HEREBY FINDS AND RESOLVES:
Section 1. Pursuant to Government Code § 54956.9(a) and based on advice
from the City Attorney, the City Council determines that a closed session should be held to confer
with or receive advice from the City Attorney regarding one (1) matter of existing litigation
involving the City, the discussion of which in open session would prejudice the position of the
City. The title of this litigation matter is Gallant v. City of Carson, et al., Case No. BC-309168.
Section 2. A closed session of the City Council of the City of Carson,
California shall be held forthwith, in recess from this regular meeting, pursuant to Government
Code § 54956.9(a), regarding the matter referred to in Section 1 hereof.
