AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17.09 OF THE MOAB MUNICIPAL
ORDINANCES REGARDING SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES
APPLICABLE WITHIN ZONES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MOAB CITY COUNCIL AS FOLLOWS:
That Chapter 17.09 of the Moab Municipal Ordinances shall
include the following Section 17.09.660 and the same shall read
as follows:
17.09.660 Site plan --required. A site plan is required whenever
there is an intent to construct, enlarge, structurally alter, or
move on a building or structure within this jurisdiction. A site
plan is a plan view drawing of the property to scale which
includes: streets, sidewalks, curb and gutters, driveways and
curb cuts; parcel boundaries, zones, setbacks, and adjacent
properties; floodplain status of property and elevation of lowest
floor if required; parking; building location(s), height and
size; landscaping and signs; grading, elevations, and storm
drainage; fire hydrants; and utilities including water, sewer,
gas, and electricity.
(A) The site plan must be signed by the Planning
Coordinator and Building Official before issuance of a
building permit. The Planning Coordinator and Building
Official may waive some of the requirements of the site
plan depending on the extent and magnitude of the
project.
(B) Each project must be completed according to the
approved site plan.
