A. The Planning Commission approved a Conditional Use Permit to allow the
construction of a 1 ,533 square foot accessory building on a residential property
located at 5130 Doreen Avenue. The proposal was to demolish the existing 639
square foot garage and to construct a new garage/workshop on the rear one-
third of the property. The proposed garage is intended for storing collectable
vehicles for restoration. The subject property is zoned R-1 and is designated low
density residential by the General Plan.
The item was approved by 5-0 vote.
B. A Conditional Use Permit and Tentative Tract Map to allow the development of
a residential condominium project consisting of ten (1 0) detached dwelling
units at 5549 Sultana Avenue . The subject property is located in the Heavy
Multifamily Residential (R-3) Zone and is designated as High Density
Residential by the City's General Plan.
The Planning Commission recommended approval of the proposed
development and environmental assessment (Negative Declaration). Final
approval will be made by the City Council and the case will be scheduled for a
future Council meeting.
The item was approved by 5-0 vote.
