THE CARSON CITY COUNCIL HEREBY FINDS AND RESOLVES:
Section 1. Pursuant to Government Code § 54956-9(a) and based on advice
from the City Attorney, the City Council determines that a closed session should be held to confer
W or receive advice from the Ciry Attorney regarding two (2) matters of existing litigation
involving the City, the discussion of which in open session would prejudice the position of the

Section 2. A closed session of the City Council of the City of Carson,
California shall be held forthwith, in recess from this regular meeting, pursuant to Government
Code § 54956.9(a), regarding the matters referred to in Section 1 hereof.
