AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS,
TEXAS, VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN
UNUSED UTILITY EASEMENT ON, OVER AND ALONG THE
EAST SIDE OF A PREVIOUSLY VACATED STREET, SAID
STREET BEING ALONG THE EAST BOUNDARY LINE OF
BLOCK "J" AND "K" OF THE RICHLAND HILLS ADDI-
TION OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Richland Hills, Texas, did, by Or-
dinance No. 38, close and vacate a certain unnamed street
extending north to south along the east boundary line of Blocks
Nine (9) "J" and "K" of the Richland Hills Addition of Richland
Hills, Texas, and
WHEREAS, there is an unused utility easement along the
east side of the vacated street which the City has no plans to
use; and
WHEREAS, such unused utility easement is unimproved and
is in excess of the City's need and should be vacated and
abandoned.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS:
I.
That certain utility easement on, over and along the
east side of an unnamed street vacated by Ordinance No. 38 be
and it is hereby vacated and abandoned.
II.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage.
