3. CEREMONIAL MA TIERS
A. RECOGNITION OF 2012 YOUTH BASKETBALL ALL-STARS
The Parks and Recreation Commission presented Certificates of
Recognition to members of the City's 2012 youth basketball all-star
teams.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. REQUEST FROM TEMPLE CITY AMATEUR SOFTBALL ASSOCIATION
(TCASA) FOR RESERVED USE OF THE ATHLETIC FIELDS AT LIVE
OAK PARK FOR POST SEASON GAMES AND PRACTICES MAY 14-
JULy 31 I 2012
The Commission approved the request subject to the condition that no
lights would be used on Sunday, June 3 for tournament games.
B. REQUEST FORM TEMPLE CITY AMERICAN UTILE LEAGUE (TCALL)
FOR RESERVED USE OF THE ATHLETIC FIELDS AT LIVE OAK PARK
FOR ALL STAR GAMES AND PRACTICES JUNE 11 -JULY 31 I 2012
The Commission approved the request for reserved use of the athletic
fields until 10 p.m. Monday -Saturday from June 11 -July 31 for post
season games and practices; approved the request for reserved use of
the baseball diamond until dusk (no lights) on Sunday July 22 and 29 for
tournament games; approved the request for reserved use of the baseball
diamond until 11 p.m., Monday-Saturday, July 11 -31 for completion of
tournament games only with TCALL to pay all staff costs after 10 p.m .;
and authorized TCALL to hang league banners on the baseball fencing at
Live Oak Park from June 11 -July 31.
C. REQUEST FROM THE LOS ANGELES PREMIER FUTBOL CLUB TO
HOST A YOUTH SOCCER CLINIC AT LIVE OAK PARK, JULY 3D-
AUGUST 3 1 2012
The Commission approved the request subject to the condition that
registration for the clinic meets the 51% residency requirement.
5. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
A. The Commission received and filed the Parks and Recreation Director's
Report for April 2012 .

CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to review the Parks and Recreation Commission actions
of their meeting of April18, 2012 .
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2011-12 City Budget.
