Mayor Yu called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 11:05 a.m . in the City
Hall Community Room located at 9701 Las Tunas Drive, Temple City.
2. ROLLCALL
PRESENT: Councilmember-Bium, Chavez, Vizcarra, Sternquist, Yu
ABSENT: Councilmember-None
ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Pulido, Assistant to City Manager Haworth,
Parks & Recreation Director Burroughs, Deputy City Clerk
Kuo, Administrative Services Director Hause , Accountant
Ma, Community Development Director Masura , Community
Preservation Supervisor Sahagun and Public Safety Officer
Ariizumi.
3. STRATEGIC PLANNING & FY 2012-13 CITY BUDGET WORKSHOP
Consultant Gary LaFerla led the City Council and City staff in a discussion involving
team building and strategic planning. Department Directors (i.e., Administrative
Services Director Hause, Community Development Director Masura, Parks &
Director Burroughs and Assistant to the City Manager Haworth) reviewed the
remaining Fiscal Year 2011-12 Work Plan and provided City budget overview to
CounciL

The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 1 :05 p .m . to the City Council
Regular Meeting of Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 7 :30 p .m . in the Council
