THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, section 38-19, subsection A. of the code of the Borough of Carteret (the
"Code") states that employees of the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") who work a
minimum of thirty (30) hours shall be entitled to receive health insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that it is appropriate to reduce the
number of hours worked to entitle an employee to benefits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carterct that Section 38-19 subsection "A" is hereby amended by deleting the words
"Thirty (30) hours per week" and replacing them with the words "twenty (20) hours per
week".
BE, IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all other code provisions which are inconsistent
with this Ordinance are deemed amended to conform with modification contained herein.
